Driver

Provides reliable and safe transport services for UNICEF staff and officials across six temporary driver posts in Kandahar, Lashkar Gah and Jalalabad. The role maintains assigned vehicles and accurate vehicle information while applying local traffic rules, protocol, discretion and a client-oriented approach to support country-office operations in Afghanistan.

• Provide safe driving services for staff and officials
• Maintain the assigned vehicle
• Document vehicle-related information
• Comply with local driving rules and regulations

• Secondary education
• At least two years of driver experience with a safe driving record in an international organisation, embassy or United Nations system
• Basic English and fluent Pashto and Dari

• Advanced defensive-driving training
• Relevant country-level experience in development, fragile or humanitarian settings
