Job Description
UNICEF is recruiting a Driver to provide reliable, safe transport in Gardez while complying with traffic rules and UNICEF protocols. The post covers safe driving, routine vehicle care, use of tracking tools, trip documentation, communication and emergency readiness, plus administrative support during non-driving periods. The role requires professionalism, discretion, integrity and strong protocol awareness.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Provide safe and reliable driving services in compliance with local traffic rules and UNICEF protocols
- Maintain vehicle readiness and complete routine care and maintenance checks
- Use digital tracking systems and maintain trip documentation
- Support office administrative tasks during non-driving periods
Role Requirements
- Secondary education
- Valid driver's license and knowledge of local driving rules and regulations
- At least 2 years of relevant experience as an armoured-vehicle driver in an international organization, embassy or UN system with a safe driving record
- Road safety, travel coordination, protocol, transportation and fleet-management skills
Desired Criteria
- Knowledge of both Pashto and Dari
- Previous QDT training, armoured-vehicle training or UN-system experience
- Relevant country-level experience, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts
