Driver/Conductor

Provides safe, timely ground-transport services in Bogotá for UN operations. The individual contractor transports personnel, visitors, cargo and correspondence; plans routes; performs vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance; coordinates repairs; maintains fuel and mileage records; and ensures compliance with road-safety, security, insurance and accident-reporting procedures. This roster supports future individual-contractor vacancies.

• Safely transport authorised personnel, materials and cargo
• Deliver and collect correspondence and parcels from external stakeholders
• Receive and escort official personnel and visitors including airport transfers
• Inspect vehicles and perform preventive maintenance
• Coordinate vehicle servicing and repairs
• Maintain clean, equipped and operational vehicles
• Report damage, accidents and equipment loss
• Maintain fuel, mileage, maintenance and repair logs

• Valid driving licence with a safe driving record
• At least five years of progressively responsible professional driver-service experience
• Experience operating passenger vehicles, SUVs, ambulances, pick-up trucks, cargo vans and passenger vans
• Fluency in Spanish

• Technical certifications in road safety, defensive driving, first aid or Colombian transport regulations
• Experience driving armoured vehicles
• Relevant experience with the United Nations common system or comparable international organisations
• Knowledge of English
