Support develop a MARG Project Repository using Google Sites & Apps Script.

Develops a functional prototype for the MARG Green Buildings Project Repository using Google Workspace and embedded web technologies. The online volunteer will connect structured project data to a Google Sites interface, implement retrieval, search and filtering features, test usability and error handling, and document the architecture so the IFC–UNEP team can maintain it affordably.

• Review the MARG repository structure, project data fields and functional requirements
• Design the technical architecture linking Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Apps Script and a Google Sites front end
• Develop an embedded HTML, CSS and JavaScript interface for Google Sites
• Build Apps Script functions to retrieve, structure and serve repository information
• Implement search, filtering, categorisation and project-detail features
• Explore Gemini API integration through Apps Script where technically feasible
• Test functionality, usability and basic error handling and document architecture, data structure and maintenance instructions

• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Basic-to-intermediate experience with Google Apps Script
• Experience working with Google Sheets or structured spreadsheet-based data
• Understanding of APIs, JSON and basic web data integration
• Good written and verbal English

• Experience developing applications using Google Apps Script and Google Sites
• Experience using Google Drive or Google Sheets as a lightweight data backend
• Experience with REST APIs and UrlFetchApp
• Familiarity with Gemini API or other generative AI APIs
• Experience creating interactive web interfaces using embedded HTML or JavaScript
