Deputy Chief Field Health Programme

Supports leadership and management of UNRWA field health programme activities. The role advises the Chief Field Health Programme, supervises staff and helps improve health-service quality, planning and programme delivery for Palestine refugees.

Department: Field Health Programme

• Advise and assist the Chief Field Health Programme on planning and programme development
• Manage and supervise health programme activities and staff
• Recommend measures to improve quality and effectiveness of health services
• Support implementation, monitoring and evaluation of field health priorities
• Coordinate health programme administration and technical guidance

• Advanced university degree in medicine, public health, health management or related health field
• Substantial experience in health programme management, public health services or clinical programme leadership
• Experience supervising professional and general service staff
• English is required
