Summary of Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the Philippines country team to deliver IATA's agenda
- Maintain relationships with airline senior management and communicate IATA objectives
- Engage government ministers, senior officials and legislators on aviation priorities
- Monitor aviation policy, economic, environmental, finance and infrastructure developments
- Advise regional leadership on airport, passenger and cargo operations priorities
- Maintain relationships with air-navigation providers and aviation-safety regulators
- Deliver business-development opportunities for IATA products and services
- Ensure corporate fiscal, legal and regulatory compliance
Role Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, Political Science or another relevant discipline
- At least twenty years of professional experience, including five years in a similar management role
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Filipino
- Experience leading teams and managing projects
- Negotiation, lobbying and cultural-intelligence capability
- Knowledge of information-technology systems and aviation and finance applications
