Job Description
Provides technical assistance to UNICEF’s child-protection response for children and families in human mobility in Bolivia. The consultant strengthens programme monitoring and data quality; integrates AAP, PSEA and safeguarding approaches; improves case-management coordination with Chile; trains partners; conducts monitoring; and delivers plans, progress, technical and final reports over 190 days.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Strengthen programme-monitoring systems, data quality and use of disaggregated information
- Integrate AAP, PSEA, safeguarding and gender, age and diversity approaches
- Develop technical tools and binational coordination mechanisms between Bolivia and Chile
- Standardize case identification, registration, follow-up and referral processes
- Train partners and provide technical assistance and field monitoring
- Deliver workplan, progress, technical and final consultancy reports
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences, international relations, social work, psychology, law, political science, humanitarian management or a related field
- At least seven years of professional experience in child protection, humanitarian action, human mobility, children's rights or strengthening protection systems
- At least five years of specific experience implementing, monitoring or providing technical assistance to child-protection programmes
- Advanced technical oral and written Spanish
- Bolivian nationality or authorization to work in Bolivia
Desired Criteria
- Postgraduate study in child protection, humanitarian action, human rights, migration or related fields
- Knowledge of child protection, human mobility and case management
- Knowledge of humanitarian principles and UNICEF Core Commitments for Children
- Knowledge of the Bolivia-Chile mobility corridor
- Digital monitoring and data-analysis tools experience
