Coordinates UNESCO culture programmes across the Pacific, providing technical, partnership and communications support for projects and intersectoral initiatives. The consultant strengthens delivery, stakeholder engagement and visibility for culture, heritage and education work.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Support implementation, monitoring and reporting of culture-sector projects
  • Prepare project documents, technical briefs, workplans and progress reports
  • Organise workshops, consultations, training activities and technical meetings
  • Coordinate with National Commissions, ministries, partners and UN Country Teams
  • Develop communication plans, website content and digital outreach products

Role Requirements

  • Master's degree in culture, heritage studies, anthropology, archaeology, international development, education, social sciences or a related field
  • At least five years of progressively responsible professional experience
  • Excellent written and spoken English
