Responsibilities
- Lead in-country implementation across STODAS policy, production and capacity outputs
- Coordinate national agrifood policy, extension strategy and digital-platform development
- Oversee nurseries, gardens, livestock enterprises and agribusiness-incubation activities
- Finalise and manage Letters of Agreement, service contracts and procurement processes
- Represent FAO in national coordination platforms and stakeholder consultations
- Monitor indicators, risks, budgets and gender-disaggregated beneficiary data
- Prepare donor reports, project updates, communications and handover documentation
Requirements
- University degree in agriculture, agrifood systems, natural-resource management, development studies, public policy or a related field
- At least three years of progressively responsible agricultural-development, agrifood-systems or project-management experience
- In-country Pacific experience, preferably in Samoa
- Working knowledge of English at FAO level C
- Samoan nationality
