Responsibilities

  • Lead in-country implementation across STODAS policy, production and capacity outputs
  • Coordinate national agrifood policy, extension strategy and digital-platform development
  • Oversee nurseries, gardens, livestock enterprises and agribusiness-incubation activities
  • Finalise and manage Letters of Agreement, service contracts and procurement processes
  • Represent FAO in national coordination platforms and stakeholder consultations
  • Monitor indicators, risks, budgets and gender-disaggregated beneficiary data
  • Prepare donor reports, project updates, communications and handover documentation

Requirements

  • University degree in agriculture, agrifood systems, natural-resource management, development studies, public policy or a related field
  • At least three years of progressively responsible agricultural-development, agrifood-systems or project-management experience
  • In-country Pacific experience, preferably in Samoa
  • Working knowledge of English at FAO level C
  • Samoan nationality
