Responsibilities
- Assess community crop and livestock production systems, needs and market linkages
- Identify service providers and support Letters of Agreement and service-contract development
- Review specifications and monitor procurement and distribution of agricultural inputs
- Build partner capacity on beneficiary selection, reporting and contractual obligations
- Promote climate-resilient crops, livestock, pest management, value addition and market access
- Deliver workshops, extension support and field monitoring across Fiji
- Track provider performance, corrective actions and monthly technical progress
Requirements
- University degree in agriculture, agronomy, animal science, agricultural economics, rural development or a related field
- At least three years of relevant agricultural, livestock, extension or rural-development experience
- Working knowledge of English at FAO level C
- Fijian nationality
- Ability to travel regularly to field sites across districts and islands
