Responsibilities
- Monitor integrated resilience projects through field visits
- Develop proposals for the climate-resilience portfolio
- Advise on natural-resource management and regenerative agriculture
- Coordinate climate initiatives across WFP and cooperating partners
- Build government and partner capacity across relevant sectors
- Represent WFP and maintain strategic partnerships
- Produce reports, procedures, briefs, case studies and lessons
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in climate studies, agriculture, environmental studies, natural-resource management, international development or a related discipline
- At least five years of progressively responsible experience in climate mitigation and adaptation, natural-resource management, agriculture, international development or a related sector
- Relevant field experience in food security, rural livelihoods, asset creation or climate programming
- Fluency at Level C in English and Kiswahili
