Livelihoods Programme Associate

The Livelihoods Programme Associate coordinates WFP projects in Riohacha that strengthen resilience, rural livelihoods and climate adaptation. The role leads implementation and field teams, monitors budgets and beneficiary data, reports results, builds partner capacity and integrates gender and protection.

Department: Riohacha Field Office

• Guide design and monitoring of livelihoods, resilience and climate-adaptation projects
• Coordinate project planning and delivery in the Riohacha field office
• Lead the livelihoods team and monitor targets and commitments
• Track budgets, beneficiary data and indicators in COMET
• Prepare technical and donor reports and address monitoring findings
• Coordinate field missions, capacity building and participatory tools

• Completed secondary education
• At least six years of professional experience implementing and monitoring development projects, including two years strengthening agricultural livelihoods with vulnerable groups
• Experience in knowledge management, documenting good practices and managing databases
• Fluency in Spanish
