Responsibilities
- Coordinate design, delivery and monitoring of animal-health technician activities
- Assess beneficiary needs and develop targeted coaching and training programmes
- Track technician businesses and mentoring progress with advisers and coaches
- Design and manage compliant procurement and distribution of starter kits
- Coordinate workshops, field visits, stakeholder meetings and agribusiness training
- Integrate technicians into zoonotic-disease surveillance, early warning and reporting
- Prepare workplans, donor reports, knowledge products and implementation evidence
Requirements
- University degree in agriculture
- At least five years of animal-health experience
- Working knowledge of English at FAO level C
- South African nationality
- Knowledge of animal-health stakeholders
