Supports UNESCO's cultural-heritage rehabilitation projects in Jordan through construction monitoring, contractor coordination, site supervision, budget review and technical reporting, helping ensure works meet approved designs, safety standards, timelines and quality requirements.

• Support planning, execution, monitoring and reporting across project phases
• Coordinate and supervise rehabilitation and construction works in project locations
• Review bills of quantities, drawings, specifications and contractor deliverables
• Conduct field visits and assess compliance with design, safety, quality and contract requirements
• Monitor project progress, bottlenecks, schedules and consultant and contractor outputs
• Coordinate with partners, local authorities, donors, consultants and contractors
• Prepare progress reports, meeting minutes, correspondence and project records
• Review budget records and invoices and support project administration

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, civil engineering, structural engineering or a related field
• At least five years of experience in architecture, architectural conservation, structural engineering, cultural-heritage rehabilitation or a related field
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications
• Knowledge of historic building materials and conservation methods used in the Middle East
• Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic

• Experience with a UN agency or international non-governmental organisation, preferably in cultural heritage
• Experience with UNESCO or understanding of its work
