Job Description

Supports UNESCO’s inclusive-education planning programme in West Africa, coordinating delivery, monitoring and evidence across training, knowledge sharing and country support. The post prepares technical activities, analyses programme data and strengthens collaboration with national partners and consultants.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Support coordination, implementation and monitoring of the regional inclusive-education programme
  • Prepare and document workshops, meetings, field missions and technical programme activities
  • Maintain operational and monitoring plans, collect programme data and verify data quality
  • Prepare progress reports, lessons learned and knowledge-sharing materials
  • Support training delivery, online community activities and country-level partner coordination

Role Requirements

  • University degree in education planning, statistics, economics, social sciences, public policy or a related field
  • At least three years of experience implementing or monitoring education-sector programmes
  • Strong oral and written French or English, with good knowledge of the other language
  • Legal authorisation to work in Senegal for non-Senegalese candidates

Desired Criteria

  • Experience with international organisations in the education sector
  • Experience with regional or multi-country projects
  • Experience in monitoring, evaluation and knowledge capitalisation
  • Experience managing online communities of practice
  • Familiarity with disability and inclusion themes
  • Knowledge of Stata or SPSS
