Summary of Responsibilities
- Conduct space-needs assessments and support planning for the UN Common Premises
- Prepare floor plans in accordance with United Nations requirements
- Coordinate with participating agencies, project-governance bodies and government counterparts
- Provide technical quality assurance for construction, interior design and fit-out works
- Assess handover readiness and verify permits and compliance documentation
- Prepare technical recommendations for final acceptance and formal handover
Role Requirements
- Master's degree in architecture or a related field
- At least five years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in project management and oversight of office-building construction and interior design
- Proficiency with technical design tools including CAD
- Proficiency in Turkish and English
Desired Criteria
- Project-management certification and proficiency with project-management software
- Knowledge of international and Turkish building codes applicable to Istanbul
