Programme Coordinator (Peace, Recovery, and Solutions)

Lead IOM Kenya's Peace, Recovery and Solutions programme portfolio, ensuring quality implementation, donor compliance and results while managing teams, partnerships, reporting and new project development for displacement-affected and at-risk communities.

• Manage the Peace, Recovery and Solutions programme portfolio and ensure compliance with IOM and donor standards
• Monitor workplans, budgets and targets and take corrective action on implementation issues
• Embed monitoring, evaluation and learning in programme delivery
• Recruit, train and manage programme staff
• Build partnerships with government, donors, CSO partners, UN agencies and local communities
• Prepare programme reporting and coordinate donor information exchange
• Develop resilience, livelihoods and natural-resource-management projects
• Integrate gender, accountability to affected populations, environmental protection and conflict sensitivity

• Master's degree in social sciences, international relations, development studies, law or a related field with at least five years of relevant professional experience, or university degree in those fields with seven years of relevant professional experience
• Professional experience in livelihoods, economic empowerment, water, sanitation and hygiene, climate change and migration
• Experience in project management and development
• Experience working with government counterparts, donors, CSO partners and international organisations
• Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of project management and monitoring and evaluation
• Resource-management and budget-administration skills
• Fluency in English
