Job Description
Designs UNITAR e-learning and microlearning for implementation of the 2030 Agenda and Sustainable Development Goals. The consultant defines objectives, structures interactive modules, writes storyboards, builds assessments and produces videos, podcasts and short courses using UNITAR quality standards.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Define learning objectives, course structure and outlines under UNITAR’s Quality Assurance Framework
- Develop learning architecture and storyboards for interactive e-learning modules
- Build interactive lessons with authoring and graphic-design tools, including voice-over
- Prepare formative and summative course assessments
- Develop videos, podcasts, micro-courses and nano-courses as microlearning products
- Integrate revisions and additional content proposed by UNITAR and partner organisations
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- At least five years of experience in instructional design, adult learning or education technology
- Experience developing learning-design architecture and storyboards and using design and authoring software
- Experience with Moodle and learning-management systems
- Fluency in English
Desired Criteria
- Experience designing learning on public policy, social, economic, environmental or governance topics is an advantage
- Knowledge of another official UN language is an asset
