Job Description
Provides secure driving and transport support for WFP personnel and visitors in San Salvador. The role follows approved routes and safety procedures, assists arrivals, maintains the assigned vehicle and travel records, reports faults and incidents, and carries out basic office tasks that help maintain efficient, accountable and client-focused transport operations in the country office.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Provide safe transportation for authorized personnel and visitors under approved routing
- Assist arrivals with basic visa and customs formalities
- Maintain vehicle records and communicate daily mechanical condition to the supervisor
- Keep the assigned vehicle clean, equipped and in good running condition
- Report delivery, accident and vehicle problems according to established rules
- Handle basic filing, photocopying, mailing and office-support work when not driving
Role Requirements
- Completion of secondary education
- Official driver training and a valid license or certificate
- Relevant driving experience
- Fluency in the UN official language and local language used at the duty station
Desired Criteria
- Experience with different vehicle makes and models
- Defensive-driving experience
