Communications Senior OfficerNew

UNOPS seeks a Communications Senior Officer in Nairobi to develop and deliver strategic communications products across editorial, digital, visual and multimedia formats. The officer will research and draft high-level materials, oversee press, video and knowledge products, maintain stakeholder and media relationships, guide teams on communication standards, and provide quality assurance for content development and strategic planning.

• Develop strategic communications initiatives and high-quality content
• Research and draft reports and background papers for high-level events
• Oversee editorial, press, video and knowledge products
• Maintain stakeholder and media relationships and provide technical guidance

• Relevant university degree and professional communications experience
• Fluent English
• Proficiency with professional content-creation and editing tools

• Experience in multicultural or UN-system environments
• Experience in development or humanitarian contexts
• Experience creating content for grassroots-level audiences
