Communications Editing and Layout Support for UNCG Pacific Secretariat

Four online volunteers will help the UNCG Pacific Secretariat turn written content into a polished digital storybook. They will establish the visual concept, create layouts for roughly 30 stories, integrate photographs and graphic elements, prepare a readable online publication, and revise the final 60–80-page product following team feedback and approval for dissemination.

• Review publication content and visual materials supplied by the UNCG Pacific Secretariat
• Develop design concepts, visual approaches and mock-ups for team review
• Propose layouts, typography, colour schemes and graphic elements
• Design the publication structure, visual identity and layouts for approximately 30 stories
• Create section-divider pages and integrate photographs, pull quotes, captions and visual highlights
• Prepare the publication for accessible digital viewing and online distribution
• Revise the draft following consolidated feedback and submit final editable design files and packaged assets

• Experience in graphic design and publication layout
• Strong skills in Adobe InDesign, Canva, Affinity Publisher or similar design software
• Experience designing reports, magazines, storybooks, newsletters or digital publications
• Ability to work independently and meet agreed deadlines
