Chief of Service, Service Delivery

Directs the Service Delivery pillar of the United Nations Support Office in Haiti, coordinating logistics, technical and operational support for mission components. The Chief plans and resources goods and services, oversees budgets, assets and service performance, leads a multifunctional support organisation, and advises senior management on resilient delivery in a complex field environment.

• Direct logistics, technical and operational support services within the Service Delivery pillar
• Coordinate multifunctional service requirements with headquarters, mission components and external entities
• Develop and implement service-delivery workplans and anticipate operational requirements
• Monitor performance indicators and improve service-delivery consistency
• Plan logistics support for civilian, military and police deployments
• Lead and resource an integrated mission-support organisation
• Manage budgets, assets and high-value contractual services
• Advise senior management on support structures, staffing and operational requirements

• Advanced university degree in business administration, engineering, logistics, medical, aviation or a related field
• First-level university degree with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted instead of an advanced degree
• At least 15 years of progressively responsible experience in administration, logistics, service delivery or related areas
• At least five years of management experience in service delivery, operational support or logistics in an international environment
• English

• Experience managing complex service-delivery operations in conflict or post-conflict environments
