Job Description
Supports OHCHR Tunisia in monitoring, analysing and reporting on human-rights developments while strengthening engagement with institutions, civil society and vulnerable communities. The role contributes to training, human-rights mainstreaming, coordination and advocacy, helping the Country Office integrate rights-based approaches into programmes and respond effectively to national human-rights priorities.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Monitor and document political, legal and institutional human-rights developments
- Research and analyse human-rights trends affecting vulnerable and marginalised groups
- Prepare reports, briefing notes, analytical summaries and official correspondence
- Support human-rights training, workshops and learning materials
- Integrate human-rights and gender considerations into programme planning and monitoring
- Conduct community outreach and document concerns from civil society and affected groups
- Coordinate with government institutions, NGOs, UN partners and national human-rights bodies
- Draft advocacy and communication materials on human-rights priorities
Role Requirements
- One month to one year of experience in human rights, political affairs, international relations, law or a related area
- Relevant qualification in law, political science, international relations, social sciences or a related field
- Ability to research, analyse information and contribute to reporting
- Strong written and oral communication skills
