Job Description
Analyses public-budget execution and supply-chain processes supporting child anaemia prevention in Loreto, Puno and Piura. The consultancy examines financing priorities, expenditure quality, implementation gaps and procurement bottlenecks affecting early-childhood health interventions, producing evidence to improve timely services and nutrition outcomes for children in Peru.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Examine formulation and execution of results-based budget interventions for early-childhood development
- Assess financing priorities, expenditure quality, execution levels and coverage or financing gaps
- Analyse supply-chain elements for child-anaemia prevention interventions
- Identify procurement bottlenecks and opportunities to improve delivery of health services
- Assess public-resource administration by regional health executive units in Loreto, Puno and Piura
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in economics, economic engineering, statistics, administration, health sciences or a related field
- At least 6 years of experience managing or analysing public-budget or supply-chain information for nutrition, health, early-childhood development or social-protection interventions
- Spanish proficiency
- Knowledge of Peruvian legislation on the public-budget and supply systems
Desired Criteria
- Previous experience with the United Nations system
- Previous experience with Peru's public sector
