Job Description
Leads the technical coordination and quality assurance of forest-inventory information systems supporting Indonesia's NFI 2.0. The specialist will strengthen data governance, interoperable workflows and secure system design across SI-INTAN, Arena and related platforms, while preparing documentation and transferring practical knowledge to IPSDH staff for sustainable use.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Assess NFI 2.0 data-management workflows, database structures and information systems, including SI-INTAN and Arena
- Define data-governance, interoperability, reporting and security requirements for priority system improvements
- Document synchronization, migration and validation workflows between Collect, Arena, SI-INTAN and agreed systems
- Prepare technical specifications and quality-assure priority integrations, application changes and dashboard information products
- Coordinate technical inputs from IT consultants, GIS experts, FAO and IPSDH partners
- Prepare documentation, user guidance and knowledge-transfer sessions for IPSDH staff
Role Requirements
- Master's degree in Informatics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or a closely related field
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in information systems, database management, data governance or system integration
- Working knowledge of English and fluent Bahasa Indonesia
- Indonesian nationality or residence with a work permit
- Experience supporting IPSDH or the Ministry of Forestry in forest-inventory data integration, management and analysis
Desired Criteria
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL or equivalent database platforms is an advantage
- Experience developing or reviewing technical requirements, workflows, information products or web/GIS systems is an advantage
- Direct experience with SI-INTAN, NFI, mangrove inventory systems, Arena or Collect is highly desirable
