Overview

Provides technical design, implementation and capacity-building support for community rainwater-harvesting systems in Sejnane. Responsibilities

  • Refine workplans for rainwater-harvesting activities
  • Design system sizing, layouts, specifications and bills of quantities
  • Provide technical guidance during installation and early operation
  • Troubleshoot site conditions and adjust technical designs
  • Coordinate technical matters with municipal authorities and project partners
  • Train local stakeholders in installation, operation and maintenance
  • Contribute technical evidence, lessons and recommendations to project reports

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in engineering, environment or a related field, or a first degree with two additional years of experience
  • Two years of progressive experience in water management and environment
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
