Unit Head (Unit for Internal Communications)New

ADB seeks a Unit Head in Manila to lead its Internal Communications Unit. The role sets internal-communications governance and strategy; oversees messaging, campaigns, events and digital platforms; aligns departments; improves AI-powered intranet tools; manages crisis communications, staff engagement and consultant performance; and supports senior events and internal stakeholder connection.

• Lead the Internal Communications Unit and its staff
• Develop internal-communications governance, strategy and policies
• Oversee internal messaging, campaigns and events
• Coordinate departments to align and amplify internal messages
• Manage production, editing and dissemination of internal communications materials and platforms
• Lead staff engagement and feedback mechanisms
• Plan and execute headquarters events involving ADB Management
• Manage the intranet, newsletter, SharePoint sites and internal digital signage
• Improve integration of AI-powered intranet tools
• Support crisis and incident internal communications
• Manage communications consultants, contractors and service providers

• Master's degree in communications, journalism, public policy, international development or a related field; a university degree with at least five years of specialised relevant experience may be considered
• At least 12 years of relevant experience including international work in several countries
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Strong stakeholder-management skills and in-depth internal and change-communications knowledge
• Nationality of one of ADB's 69 members
