Job Description
Supports UNMISS in operationalizing its Protection of Civilians reporting and analysis platform. The online volunteer organizes historical protection data, improves databases and dashboards, tests reporting workflows and produces guidance that strengthens analysis, situational awareness and evidence-based protection decisions across mission components and coordination partners.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Extract and organize historical protection information in the platform
- Maintain structured databases on incidents, threats and vulnerabilities
- Develop dashboards, maps and analytical reporting products
- Create user manuals, guides and standard operating procedures
- Conduct user acceptance testing and identify system improvements
- Develop recommendations for platform scalability and sustainability
Role Requirements
- University degree or current enrollment in a relevant information, data, GIS, software, humanitarian or international-relations field
- English
Desired Criteria
- Experience in information management, database development, data analysis, visualization, GIS, monitoring, reporting or knowledge management is desirable
