Supply Chain Associate

Manages procurement and supply-chain operations for IOM in Gaziantep, supporting compliant purchasing, vendor engagement, contract administration and timely delivery of goods and services. The role maintains procurement records, supports asset, warehouse and fleet activities, and gives operational guidance to staff while helping strengthen the capability of junior supply-chain colleagues.

• Verify procurement requisitions and obtain required supporting information
• Prepare tender documents, solicit bids, analyse quotations and coordinate purchase approvals
• Monitor requisitions and coordinate delivery confirmation, supplier payments and contract renewals
• Maintain procurement records and analyse system information for periodic reports
• Conduct supplier market surveys and support vendor evaluation
• Manage supply-chain work covering assets, warehousing, insurance, maintenance and transport
• Coordinate fleet schedules, logbooks and vehicle maintenance
• Train and guide junior supply-chain staff

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field with three years of relevant professional experience, or a High School diploma with five years of relevant professional experience
• Experience in procurement and logistics and working with vendors and service providers

• Certification in Procurement, Logistics or Supply Chain Management
• Experience with asset management processes
• Experience with IOM or UN procurement and logistics rules and procedures
• Experience working in an international organisation
