Overview

Oversees a 24-hour accommodation centre for unaccompanied migrant children, ensuring safe facilities, coordinated care and referrals, effective staff scheduling, sound financial and administrative management, and accountable delivery of psychosocial, education and protection services

Responsibilities

  • Oversee safe accommodation-centre facilities, equipment, catering, hygiene and maintenance
  • Supervise children’s participation in services, collect feedback and arrange individual escorts
  • Prepare staff shift schedules, coordinate duties and review individual performance
  • Manage the complaint mechanism and supervise financial and administrative operations
  • Coordinate procurement needs, medicines, supplies and reception or departure procedures
  • Plan interdisciplinary services and activities with scientific staff
  • Refer children promptly to specialised external care and support services

Requirements

  • University degree in Social Work or Humanitarian Sciences with at least two years of relevant experience
  • At least two years of experience in child protection, unaccompanied-minor protection, vulnerability management, asylum reception or refugee integration
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment and assisting migrants or refugees
  • Fluent Greek
  • Working knowledge of English or French
  • Valid residence and work permit for Greece
  • Availability for morning, evening, holiday, weekend and night-emergency shifts
