Overview

The associate leads operational delivery of a Costa Rica migration-regularization project, coordinating beneficiary intake, documentation and biometric processes, budgets, government counterparts, capacity building, reporting and data protection so migrants can access lawful long-term status.

Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation and monitoring of migration-regularization activities
  • Support beneficiary intake, documentation screening and registration procedures
  • Coordinate biometric and data-collection processes with protection-sensitive safeguards
  • Monitor budgets, procurement actions and administrative requirements
  • Coordinate government authorities, consular actors and service providers
  • Plan and deliver capacity-building workshops on regularization processes
  • Prepare correspondence, briefings and narrative and financial reports
  • Supervise staff and document procedures, lessons and operational improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with five years of professional experience, or high school diploma with seven years of professional experience
  • Experience supporting migration governance, regularization, civil documentation, protection or assistance to vulnerable migrants
  • Knowledge of regularization procedures, registration requirements and protection-sensitive referral pathways
  • Ability to manage sensitive beneficiary information securely
  • Fluency in English
  • Fluency in Spanish
