Senior Project Associate (Assistance to Vulnerable Migrants)

Supports IOM Ethiopia’s assistance to vulnerable migrants by coordinating legal aid, legal identity and access-to-justice activities, monitoring delivery and budgets, preparing reports and training, and liaising with government, justice and protection partners.

• Coordinate and monitor legal aid, legal identity and access-to-justice activities
• Compile and analyse protection and civil-documentation information
• Monitor budgets and propose corrective adjustments
• Prepare reports, correspondence, briefings and project documentation
• Organise and support training, workshops and stakeholder meetings
• Coordinate referrals and monitor implementing partners and service providers

• School diploma with six years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree in law, human rights, political or social sciences, international relations, development studies, migration studies, public administration, governance, legal studies or a related field with four years of relevant experience
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Amharic

• Special short-term graded appointment of up to nine months
