Overview
Provide protection screening and case management for migrants arriving in Honduras through assisted voluntary return. The case worker identifies vulnerabilities, plans individual support, coordinates referrals and post-arrival services, protects confidential data and monitors assistance for people with complex needs.

Responsibilities
- Screen arriving migrants for vulnerabilities and protection risks
- Develop individual case plans and document identified needs
- Coordinate referrals and post-arrival health, psychosocial, consular and protection services
- Support safe and dignified assistance based on privacy, confidentiality and informed consent
- Coordinate multi-mission assessments, remote counselling and assisted return movements
- Maintain case notes and data in IOM case-management systems
- Prepare case summaries, assessments and protection-indicator reports
- Undertake field visits to monitor services and partner sites
Requirements
- School diploma with five years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree in social sciences, international relations, research, law or a related field with three years of experience
- Experience in protection case management involving survivors of gender-based violence or trafficking and children at risk in humanitarian or migration contexts
- Experience supporting vulnerable people with complex needs
- Experience coordinating referrals with local protection actors, NGOs or government services
- Fluency in Spanish
