Affiliate Contractor - Project Associate (Protection Information Management)

Support IOM Ethiopia’s Protection Unit with information management for migrant and displacement programming. The affiliate contractor will maintain MRC data systems, improve collection and validation, analyse trends, build dashboards and train teams while applying IOM data-protection standards.

Department: Protection Unit

• Maintain protection data platforms and ensure data quality across the unit
• Develop data collection, validation, cleaning, backup and security processes
• Analyse migration trends and prepare dashboards, reports and data stories
• Support databases, SharePoint and information products for protection teams
• Train staff and partners on data collection and management tools

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, software engineering, statistics or related field with three years of experience, or school diploma with five years
• Experience with data collection and analysis platforms
• Fluency in English and Amharic
