Summary of Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine conceptual and numerical groundwater models
  • Integrate hydrogeological, climate, remote-sensing and monitoring datasets
  • Develop groundwater forecasts, climate scenarios and early-warning systems
  • Prepare work plans, model reports and technical recommendations
  • Lead validation workshops, field missions and stakeholder engagement
  • Provide technical mentoring, training and knowledge transfer

Role Requirements

  • PhD in hydrogeology or a closely related discipline
  • At least 15 years of progressively responsible experience in groundwater studies and hydrogeological modelling
  • Experience developing and applying conceptual and numerical groundwater models
  • Experience integrating hydrogeological and hydroclimatic data into modelling workflows
  • Research expertise in climate-change and drought impacts on groundwater systems
  • Fluency in English and French
