Senior CIS Security Officer

Strengthens cyber security for NATO communications and information systems by leading awareness programmes, incident response planning and third-party assurance. The officer will monitor threats and portfolio risks, maintain relationships with management, auditors and regulators, and oversee security, disaster-recovery and business-continuity measures for the NATO Cyber Security Centre.

• Develop security awareness and training programmes
• Monitor security incidents and threats and implement response plans
• Maintain relationships with senior management, auditors and regulatory authorities
• Maintain disaster-recovery and business-continuity plans
• Oversee third-party vendors and service providers against security requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with three years of post-related experience, or at least ten years of extensive progressive expertise when a degree is not held
• Knowledge of computer and communication security, networking and modern-system vulnerabilities
• Experience implementing CIS security measures in enterprise environments
• Experience leading security audits, risk assessments and regulatory reporting
• Fluency in English
