Job Description
Supports IOM's Migration Health Division to digitize and securely manage sensitive health-assessment records in Colombo. The assignment prepares paper files for scanning, applies prescribed naming and storage practices, checks image quality and supports approved disposal, helping preserve confidential records and improve their retrieval, continuity and storage management.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Retrieve designated documentation boxes from storage areas
- Sort documents under applicable retention and scanning requirements
- Prepare records for scanning by removing staples, clips and bindings
- Scan registration and medical documentation
- Apply prescribed electronic file-naming conventions and organize files in shared folders
- Conduct quality checks for clear, complete, legible and correctly oriented scans
- Return or rebind physical records and prepare eligible documents for authorized disposal
- Protect applicant information and maintain strict confidentiality throughout the assignment
Role Requirements
- Basic to intermediate computer literacy
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to operate document scanners and basic scanning software
- Good typing and data-entry skills
- English is required
Desired Criteria
- Information technology, social sciences or international relations specialization is desirable
