Job Description

Delivers rostered human-resources support for WFP Ukraine across employee queries, recruitment, contracts, entitlements, onboarding, performance, learning, payroll and deployment, using Workday data and analysis to improve processes, documentation, deadlines and client service.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Resolve complex human-resources queries and deliver client-focused follow-up
  • Allocate work and coach junior staff on HR systems and procedures
  • Identify organisational needs and recommend HR process improvements
  • Compile recruitment, contract, entitlement, performance, learning and workforce data
  • Onboard new staff and explain terms of service
  • Prepare accurate contracts, transfer letters, separation letters and training documents
  • Review, enter and update HR data in Workday while monitoring deadlines
  • Monitor staff deployments and complete related administrative actions and reports

Role Requirements

  • Secondary education with post-secondary human-resources certification, or another background supported by relevant HR experience or formal training
  • At least six years of administrative support experience including three years in human resources, reduced to four years with a bachelor's degree or three years with a master's degree
  • Fluent English and Ukrainian
  • Ukrainian nationality or Ukrainian residence with a legal work permit

Desired Criteria

  • University education in organisational psychology or human-resources management
