Summary of Responsibilities
- Review and monitor country-office HR services against IOM policies
- Supervise personnel files, attendance records and HR databases
- Administer local staff contracts, entitlements and payroll processes
- Coordinate recruitment and onboarding for staff and non-staff vacancies
- Support performance management, staff development and training
- Prepare HR reports and implement audit recommendations
- Coordinate HR matters with headquarters, regional and administrative centres
- Monitor visas, residence permits and benefits administration for international staff
Role Requirements
- Master’s degree in human resources, business administration, industrial and organizational psychology, social sciences or a related field with two years of relevant experience, or university degree with four years
- High computer literacy and experience with HR IT systems and applications
- Experience preparing training modules and delivering training sessions
- Fluency in English and Spanish
Desired Criteria
- Previous international-organization experience
- Familiarity with the UN common system
- Working knowledge of Arabic, Chinese, French or Russian
