Radio Operator

The radio operator will monitor ICRC field movements from Yangon, maintain contact with staff and vehicles, and ensure security procedures are followed. The role records operational messages, tests communications equipment, reports anomalies and rapidly shares security-relevant information with ICRC colleagues. It also updates contact records and supports ICRC operating procedures.

• Monitor ICRC field movements
• Maintain contact with ICRC staff and sites
• Report anomalies to the line manager
• Maintain operational message logs
• Inspect and test communications equipment

• University degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years’ work experience as an Operator or similar field of activity
• Good command of spoken and written English
