Job Description

Operates and maintains BICES’ enterprise public-key infrastructure in Brussels, securing authentication, integrity, non-repudiation and confidentiality. The engineer configures certificate, registration, hardware-security, directory and database services; monitors logs and performance; manages policies, evidence and backups; resolves faults; and trains registration-authority personnel.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain BICES Enterprise PKI services
  • Configure certificate authority, registration authority and hardware security module services
  • Maintain PKI policies, procedures, accreditation evidence, logs and backups
  • Provide second-level technical support and investigate faults
  • Train registration authority personnel and coordinate with vendors

Role Requirements

  • University degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems engineering, mathematics or related discipline
  • At least three years of post-related experience
  • PKI cryptography, certificate authority and hardware security module experience
  • Level V Advanced English
  • National of a NATO member country
