Job Description

The IMF contractual analyst supports Fiscal Affairs tax-policy divisions with capacity-development planning, funding and mission administration. The role maintains workplans and databases, tracks delivery and resources, manages knowledge repositories and SharePoint, researches tax-policy material and supports workshops.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Maintain capacity-development project-management systems
  • Track workplan delivery and funding utilisation
  • Coordinate mission dates, staffing, travel and resources
  • Support expert contracting and externally financed projects
  • Research and compile tax-policy information
  • Maintain tax-revenue databases and knowledge repositories
  • Develop standard presentation and technical-assistance materials
  • Manage divisional SharePoint content
  • Support workshops, seminars and staff onboarding

Role Requirements

  • Secondary school education or equivalent
  • At least four years of relevant experience
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI
  • Experience supporting projects, tracking deliverables and maintaining timelines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Current residence in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area

Desired Criteria

  • Familiarity with effective use of AI-powered tools
