Overview
Leads delivery of a parliamentary-strengthening project supporting democratic lawmaking, oversight and public engagement in Papua New Guinea and Bougainville. The manager directs teams, budgets, partnerships, monitoring and risk controls while building institutional capacity and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities
- Plan and manage parliamentary-strengthening project implementation, budgets and procurement
- Direct project personnel and assure the technical quality of partner outputs
- Build partnerships with parliaments, government, civil society and development actors
- Lead monitoring, evaluation, reviews and corrective action against the results framework
- Manage social, environmental and operational risks and project closure
- Produce donor, government and corporate reports and share lessons learned
Requirements
- Advanced degree in social policy, public policy, politics, economics, law, development studies or a related area, or bachelor’s degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
- At least five years of relevant experience with a master’s degree or seven years with a bachelor’s degree
- Project-management experience covering planning, monitoring, reporting and stakeholder and team coordination
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in Tok Pisin
