Overview
Coordinate IOM Iraq’s prevention-of-violent-extremism and rehabilitation portfolio in Erbil. The officer will liaise with national and district committees, oversee technical assistance and local action plans, strengthen civil-society partnerships, guide research teams, supervise staff and support donor reporting.

Responsibilities
- Serve as liaison with national and district prevention-of-violent-extremism committees
- Oversee technical assistance, local action plans and capacity-building activities
- Coordinate government, civil-society, UN and donor partnerships
- Guide field research teams and support civil-society fund grantees
- Supervise staff and contribute to reports, budgets and public-information materials
Requirements
- Master’s degree with two years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree with four years, in international relations, development studies, social sciences, business management, public administration or related field
- At least two years engaging senior Iraqi and local government officials
- At least two years of project management experience with financial oversight
- Fluency in English
