Responsibilities
- Set strategic direction, priorities and implementation milestones for the MPISY project
- Manage daily delivery of outputs, workplans, budgets, procurement and operational processes
- Supervise project staff, consultants and technical experts and assure delivery quality
- Monitor expenditures, results and operational, fiduciary and contextual risks
- Build partnerships with government, donors, implementing partners and development actors
- Represent the project and support policy dialogue on governance and systems reform
- Document lessons, knowledge products and technical outputs for institutional learning
- Integrate resilience, gender equality and inclusive participation across project delivery
Requirements
- Master’s degree in economics, public administration, public finance, development studies or a related field, or bachelor’s degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
- Seven years of progressively responsible project-management experience with a master’s degree, or nine years with a bachelor’s degree
- At least two years overseeing complex multi-stakeholder initiatives
- Experience managing complex multi-component development projects, preferably in fragile or conflict-affected settings
- Experience in public financial management, statistical or data systems, human-resource systems, or public-sector modernisation and institutional reform
- Fluency in English
