Responsibilities
- Review climate-transparency legislation, policies and institutional arrangements
- Advise on Enhanced Transparency Framework, reporting guidelines and IPCC requirements
- Integrate gender equality and social inclusion into climate policies and reporting methods
- Coordinate data collection, validation and consolidation for national climate reports
- Develop reporting templates, methodological guidance and transparency procedures
- Strengthen interagency coordination, measurement and reporting systems and capacity
- Prepare technical briefs, progress updates, workshops and stakeholder consultations
Requirements
- Advanced degree in law, gender studies, social sciences, public policy, public administration, human rights, international development or a related field, or a bachelor's degree with two years of experience
- With a bachelor's degree, at least two years of relevant legal, policy, governance, gender or social-inclusion experience in environmental governance or climate change
- Fluency in Russian and Turkmen
