Summary of Responsibilities
- Lead the ECD and Human Capital programme pillar
- Develop and coordinate integrated health, nutrition, education and social-protection programmes
- Strengthen governance, policies, financing and service-delivery systems
- Promote evidence-based advocacy and programme coherence
- Advance national ownership and cross-sectoral integration
- Coordinate partnerships with government, financial institutions, private sector and civil society
- Drive scalable interventions addressing early childhood development and child malnutrition
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in a relevant social, public-health, early-childhood-development, policy or development field
- At least five years of relevant professional experience in public health, nutrition, early childhood development, social policy, planning, management or finance
- Demonstrated experience supervising people
- Fluent or proficient Spanish
- Fluent or proficient English
Desired Criteria
- Experience working in a developing country
- Familiarity with emergencies
- Experience in a UN system agency or organisation
- Relevant country-level experience in development, fragile settings or humanitarian contexts
