Job Description
Provide finance support to UNOPS' Asia Regional Health Cluster in Yangon, managing budgets, costing, controls and reporting for Global Fund programmes. The associate maintains financial records and system data, reviews partner reports and transactions, supports reconciliations and payments, strengthens compliance and audit follow-up, and shares finance knowledge with colleagues and partners.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Prepare compliant budgets and project-costing information
- Set up projects and upload approved budgets in the system
- Monitor financial exceptions, general-ledger data, purchase orders and receipts
- Prepare periodic and ad-hoc donor financial reports
- Review partner financial reports and reconcile expenditures
- Record disbursements and support audit queries and financial-process improvements
Role Requirements
- UNOPS internal candidate and Myanmar national
- Secondary school with six years of relevant experience, or university degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related area with two years
- Minimum six years of relevant finance, accounting, business-administration or related experience
- Fluent English and Burmese
- Experience with MS Office 2010 or newer
Desired Criteria
- Relevant financial-management or accounting certification
- Knowledge of UNOPS financial rules and regulations
- Experience with ERP or financial-management electronic systems
- UN-system experience
