Overview

Supports the Jérémie field office with monitoring, evaluation and vulnerability analysis by designing evidence plans, coordinating data collection, analysing food-security and market information, tracking recommendations and strengthening partner capacity for programme decisions and emergency response.

Responsibilities

  • Develop monitoring, review and evaluation plans aligned with the country strategic plan
  • Budget monitoring and evaluation activities and advocate for adequate resources
  • Make findings accessible for programme design and implementation
  • Track recommendations from monitoring, reviews and evaluations
  • Strengthen staff, partner and government capacity in monitoring and vulnerability analysis
  • Maintain field monitoring systems and tools in line with WFP standards
  • Coordinate data collection and analysis for food-security assessments
  • Collect market data and support emergency-response analysis

Requirements

  • Secondary education, preferably supplemented by a university degree in a relevant field
  • At least six years of relevant professional experience, including monitoring and evaluation
  • Proficiency in French and working knowledge of English
  • Experience using quantitative and qualitative analytical methods
