Job Description

Supports UNICEF Libya’s child-protection capacity building in MHPSS, case management, child justice and children on the move. The intern coordinates training, prepares learning materials and programme records, tracks participation, and creates communications content that documents results.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Support planning, coordination and documentation of cascade training activities
  • Develop, review and format curricula, facilitator guides and presentations
  • Coordinate training delivery with government, partners, consultants and facilitators
  • Prepare meeting minutes, briefing notes, reports and programme records
  • Monitor training implementation and maintain participant tracking records
  • Organise knowledge-management materials for the Child Protection programme
  • Create success stories, photographs and social-media content
  • Coordinate visibility products with the communications team under UNICEF branding

Role Requirements

  • At least 18 years old and enrolled in a recognised higher-education programme, graduated within the past two years, or holding a university degree
  • Academic background in social sciences, social work, psychology, law, international relations, public policy, education or another relevant field
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Desired Criteria

  • Interest in child protection, child rights, social services or humanitarian and development work
  • Academic, volunteer or extracurricular experience in child protection, research, training or community engagement
  • Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience creating communications or social-media content
